The who, what, and why
Swriteo is an offline-first, minimal writing and note-taking Android app designed and developed by me, Noah Rahm.
The goal is to create an app that is truly a great way to capture ideas and write a first draft for your projects on Android. Whether that’s a novel, a children’s book, a screenplay, or just your thoughts—it aims to fill the gap between a basic notes app and an advanced writing/organizational app, all while feeling “totally okay” to use as your everyday digital notebook companion. In short, Swriteo is aiming to be a place where ideas can grow from notes to a full project.
There is also companion web version of Swriteo so that PRO users can access and edit documents on any device via a supported web browser.
Swriteo is currently a side/passion project I work on, funded by sales of the PRO version in-app purchase. The app intentionally has no ads—just a single in-app purchase for more features.
I personally take notes and write (children’s books, short stories) extensively using my Android device and so this app fulfills my own need as well.
